“ADVERSE REACTION
FROM Kirsty Shacklady Hello…. my 12 week old puppy had his lepto 4 jab 30 mins before we collected him last Monday.
Since then everything went wrong. For the first few days he started with a lump on his neck, this wasnt bothering him and we put this down to swelling. By friday this was the size of a tennis ball. We went to a local vets who said ‘leave it and come back within a week’ the day later it was the size of a grapefruit and Alfie began not eating, drinking or playing. We went to a different vets (one that we have previously used with our previous dog) who urged us to admit him as he will need an operation or that he would die. Alfie had 500ml of puss drained and 1x3inches of skin removed from his back. (The skin was dead due to the infection) thankfully he is back to his playful self and is waiting to have his stitches and drains removed. My new vets stated that they would NEVER give a dog this vaccine”
